About Brad

Brad Bailey is a young racing driver showing lots of promise, following in the footsteps of dad, Paul Bailey, a former successful rallycross driver in the 1980s.

Brad started racing motorcross bikes at only age 6 and progressed on to cars, starting with mini stocks, aged just 11. Brad scored an early season win in his Mini Stock car at Arena Essex, giving him the appetite for winning ways and a step up to Junior Rallycross.

Brad, won both of the major Junior Rallycross Championships, racing in his first full season in his 1000cc mini.

In 2010 & 2011 Brad moved into Ginetta Juniors, competing in the new Ginetta G40.

2012 saw Brad move into the Ginetta GT5 Challenge, and 2013 sees Brad compete in his second season in the Championship.

About Junior Rallycross

Junior Rallycross is open to drivers from 14 to 16 years of age. The current cars permitted in this rallycross category are 1000cc Minis prepared to a controlled technical specification.

This gives young talent an opportunity to develop their racing skills under the same rules and on the same circuits as the senior rallycross drivers and gives them a good foundation for moving into higher divisions as they come of age.

About Ginetta Juniors

The Ginetta Junior championship is for competitors aged from 14 to17 years old. It was first introduced in 2003 and has proved a very successful proving ground for future stars.

The single-make championship previously used the Ginetta G20 coupe car, but from the 2010 Championship brand new Ginetta G40′s are the car of choice.

The Championship supports the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) with 20 races at 10 circuits throughout the UK.  The Championship is covered on ITV4 and pulls large crowds, so is the perfect racing series for young drivers to develop and prove their abilities.

About Ginetta GT5 Challenge

The Ginetta GT5 Challenge comprises 7 race weekends with competitors racing in 21 rounds of the Championship. It follows the British GT Championship, and is covered on Motors TV.

The winner of the Championship receives a drive in a Ginetta G50.
